OFBC Choir Led by Bro. Carl MeyerOFBC Choir:  You DO NOT have to know how to read music or be an exceptional vocalist in order to participate in this ensemble. What you do have to have is an open mind and an open heart to use your talents, both great and small, for the Lord. If you don’t feel like you’re a good enough artist to be in a choir, please refer to Luke 19: 11-27. If you’ll use and develop a small talent, God will multiply it greatly! The Bible says to make a “joyful noise” (Psalm 66:1), not a perfect noise. So if you sing, even if it’s just in the shower, or if you don’t know if you can sing at all, you are invited to come be a part of the worship-leading Choir at OFBC! Through rehearsals and church services we can unlock the talent God has inside you, even if you didn’t know it’s in there! The Choir rehearses Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and sings in the 10:15 a.m. service on Sundays.

Praise Band:  Due to the difficulty of some of the music, this is an auditioned ensemble. We play and sing just about every style of Christian music to satisfy the desire of our church to offer a “blended” format of musical worship. So, if you play an instrument or can sing lead and harmony parts easily, you are invited to set up an audition for a spot in the Praise Band at OFBC! The Praise Band rehearses on Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. and plays in the 10:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. services on Sundays.  Praise Band members:

Brenda Daniel, Piano

Sylvia Pruitt, Organ

Benny Cole, Guitar

Brenda Cole, Bass

David Sales, Guitar

Carl Meyer, Drums

Kathy Huff, Flute

Special Music:  In addition to the Choir and Praise Band there are always opportunities for soloists and small group ensembles to participate in Worship services and special events at OFBC
