It is our privilege at Oakland First Baptist Church to provide quality care for children from two to five years of age.  Our purpose is to provide a place where parents can confidently leave their children.  A great deal of preparation has gone into making our facility safe and enjoyable.  Our OFBC Preschool enables parents to have a few hours to themselves and a good learning experience for your children. 

  We have four classes, ages 2, 3, 4 years old and Pre-K.  Each class has two teachers except for the Pre-K class which only has 6 children.  Our program runs August through May, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The children learn so much over the school year.  The two year olds have more basic learning (colors & shapes), with lots of large motor play and social interaction.  The three year old class begins learning colors, shapes, letters and numbers.  Our four year old class has been designed this year to provide all the skills needed to be prepared for kindergarten. The Pre-K class is for those children who can not start kindergarten due to their birthdays or who need a bit of a challenge.  We are using the Abeka curriculm in all of our classes.  All four classes read a bible story each day and have large motor play either inside or outside on our playground.

 

Our cost for Fall 20010 is $125.00 a month, with a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee.
